The end to a long NBA season for New Orleans Hornets came to a close last night at the New Orleans Arena as the Hornets snapped an five game losing streak with a 114-86 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.
New Orleans for the first time in a long time dominated a game from start to finish, but that should come as no surprise since the Timberwolves have only won 15 games this NBA season.
For the Hornets it was a game where players who seldom saw action thrived, Julian Wright scored 16-points in 24-minutes off the bench and had several crowd pleasing dunks including the photo below, my top shot of the game.

Tonight’s game was a game between two losing franchises, there was no one to concentrate my coverage towards, I did stick more to the Hornets since rookie Marcus Thornton regularly provides good action opportunities and tonight once again Thornton did not disappoint scoring 22-points against Minnesota.

During this game I saw a coach for the second time in a week ejected by officials, this time Timberwolves head coach Kurt Rambis went on a rant after one of his players was called for traveling, the first argument brought about a technical foul.

Below Rambis looks on after getting tossed by officials after continuing on his argument, Rambis just stood and stared at officials for a few moments before assistant coaches helped to escort him off. I had my view blocked by players and caught a glimpse of Rambis between two players standing on the court.

Near the end of the game I put on my wide angle lens for a general view during the final moments of the game.
