Pictures of the Month – March
In the month of March I pretty much went without a day off, on assignment for MLB Spring Training in Florida for most of the month, I was pulled away from baseball several times, twice to shoot the Miami Heat and another time for a few days to shoot for the NCAA Tournament Tampa Regional.
It was an exciting month in Florida I came away with a lot of photos I was happy with and returned to New Orleans just in time for the New Orleans Sweet Sixteen and Elite Eight NCAA Regional and closed out the month with my first New Orleans Hornets game since returning home.
In my slide show below I am sure you will notice one photo that you will wonder why is that in there, well the photo of Dale Murphy a former MLB player for the Atlanta Braves was the player I most idolized as a young kid. In a very special moment in Disney, my personal legend in baseball Dale Murphy was an honorary captain and I had the great opportunity to meet and speak with my childhood idol, it was a great moment for me and I included a picture I took of Murphy because it truly was my picture of the month. A simple photo, but a moment that brought out the fan in me and a photo I’ll treasure for the rest of my life.
